Ann Marie LaParr, 54, formerly of Harrisville, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011 in Rochester where she has resided since 2002.
Calling hours will be at French Funeral Home, Edwards on Monday, March 14 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 15 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob King of the Fowler Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery, Fine.
Ann was born on March 19, 1956 in Star Lake. She was the daughter of the late Hilton Albert and Yvonne Julia (Derouin) LaParr and had attended the Harrisville Central School. Marriages to Timothy Cooper and Lawrence Bussell ended in divorce.
In her free time, Ann loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved gardening and going to amusement parks.
Her survivors include her three daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Michele) Long of Rochester, Mrs. Brandon (Jodi) Carr of Oswegatchie, and Lindsey Bussell of Rochester; seven brothers, Gary and Juanita LaParr, Robert LaParr, Lawrence and Mary LaParr, James and Donalee LaParr, John and Kathy LaParr, Patrick LaParr, Scott and Beth LaParr; three sisters, Elaine and Gary Blair, Leatta LaParr, and Jacqueline and Ben Wangelin; five grandchildren, Dylan and David Andrew Martin, and Adrienne, Degan, and Brendon Carr; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Ann may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Chili Lion’s Club.
