Angela Rose Scott, age 8, of Gouverneur died on August 21, 2010 following a car accident on US HWY 11.
Calling hours will be at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur on Tuesday from 5 - 8 p.m. Her funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 25th at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Greg Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Natural Bridge.
Angela was born on August 28, 2001 in Watertown to Jessica Lynn Scott and Randy Way, Jr. She was about to enter third grade at East Side Elementary School, Gouverneur.
Angela loved playing games, doing crafts and wearing high heels and dresses. She enjoyed riding her four-wheeler, fishing, camping and playing miniature golf. She was a fanatic about seeing bands play in concert and following her country singers. Angela was a real sweet girl and her favorite color was purple.
Angela is survived by her mother, Jessica and her companion, Jodie Street; her sister, Holly Marie; her brother, Tyler Matthew; her grandparents, Wayne and Debie Scott; her grandmother, Lucy Watts; her great grandmother and great grandfather, Arlene Scott-Halpen and Robert Halpen; her grandparents, Michael and Debbie Hays; her aunt, Mariya Clemons; her two uncles, Jason Scott and his companion, Stephany Jenkins, and Robert Scott; a great uncle, David Scott; and many cousins.
She is predeceased by her great grandfather, Frederick Scott; her great grandparents, Herbert and Shirley Watts; her aunt Sherry Hays; her great grandfather, Leonard Hays; and her great grandmother, Shirley Hays who also died in the car accident that claimed Angela’s life.
Donations given in memory of Angela may be made to the Gouverneur Volunteer Rescue Squad or the Gouverneur Volunteer Fire Department.
