Graveside services for Allan F. Johnson, age 71 of Deltona, FL and formerly of Heuvelton will be held in the spring at Hillcrest Cemetery in Heuvelton.
There will be no public calling hours. Mr. Johnson died Saturday (March 5, 2011) at the Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City, FL. Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.
Surviving is his wife, Theresa Johnson of Deltona, FL; a daughter, Kimberly Johnson of Deltona, FL; step-son David Premo and his wife Eileen of Ogdensburg; a step-daughter, Mary Staie and her husband Robert of Rochester; a sister, Phyllis Young and her husband Robert of Heuvelton; grandchildren Nicole Staie, Brittany Staie, Katherine Premo, Rodger Premo and Douglas Premo; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Allan was born on September 5, 1939 in Grand Rapids, MN a son of the late Floyd and Annabel (Allen) Johnson. He graduated from Heuvelton High School and enlisted in the US Airforce from 1959 – 1967. He married Theresa St. Denny on July 7, 1983. During his career he was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for area contractors, the US Postal Service and Baildon’s Machine Shop before retiring in Florida.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, fishing and traveling.
