Funeral services for Genevieve A. Kennedy, age 89, of McCord Woods Drive in Fairport, and formerly of Lisbon will be held on Friday (Oct 29, 2010) at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Ogdensburg with Rev. Laurena Wickham Will officiating. Burial will follow the service at Flackville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held also on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mrs. Kennedy passed away Tuesday morning (Oct 26, 2010) at the home of her son Richard in Fairport.

Calling hours will be held on November 1, 2010 at Frary Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Strader passed away on October 25, 2010 at Highland Nursing Home in Massena.

Gillibrand today endorsed Democrat Russell in her contest with Republican David Forsythe to keep her 118th district seat, and Russell has endorsed Democrat Gillibrand as she runs against Republican Joseph DioGuardi in the U.S. Senate race.

CANTON -- Sheep and goat producers attending the Nov. 2 Northern New York Sheep and Goat Week program can discuss information gathered from more than 20 New York meat goat and sheep farmers on how they are saving time and money without sacrificing flock productivity.
In her presentation on “Kidding and Lambing – Where Does the Time go?” featured speaker Cornell Small Ruminant Extension Specialist tatiana Stanton will share research data provided by goat and sheep farmers on their labor and feed demands during lambing and kidding.
