Price gouging at tanks?
My son, wife and I took a ride to Ogdensburg the other day, and we noticed gas prices there were $3.92 for regular. In Waddington, it was $3.88 for regular. Now, tell me why in Potsdam, it was $4.03, even when Hannawa is less? Would it be price gouging?
Stop gas price madness
I travel for my job across the state. Nationally, gas prices are about $3.79 a gallon. Locally we traditionally pay about 10 to 12 more a gallon. I do not understand how gas in Massena, Gouverneur, Ogdensburg and even Star Lake is between $3.85 and $3.95 a gallon yet it is still over $4 in Canton and Potsdam. I would like all of the gas stations in these communities investigated by the Ag’s office. Someone is getting rich while I struggle to pay my bills and afford to travel to work.
