Myrtle Mae Graves, age 86, of Hannawa Falls, passed away on Thursday, November 03, 2011 at her residence in the town of Pierrepont while under the care of her family and the Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley. Cynthia A. Jackson, 46, of Winter Haven, FL died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Winter Haven Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lawrence Funeral Home, Canton with Pastor Donna Doig officiating. A time of food and fellowship will follow at the Best Western Inn in Canton.

Stephen W. Luther, 61, of Hermon, died, November 2, 2011, at his home, Allen-Denesha Funeral Home, DeKalb Junction, in trusted with arrangements. Calling hours will be Friday, November 11, 7– 9 p.m. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the funeral home, Father Doug Lucia officiating. Burial will follow in Hermon Cemetery, with military honors.

Funeral services for Carol L. Powell, age 67, of 7 Irish Settlement Road, Heuvelton, are incomplete with Frary Funeral Home. Mrs. Powell passed away on November 2, 2011 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.

Mr. G. Lionel Hewitson, age 84, of Hannawa Falls, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 while under the care of his family and Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 7th at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Potsdam. Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Sunday from 1-4 p.m.

Fay H. Loop, 101, of Russell, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at his home with his family present.

There will be a graveside service at South Russell Cemetery on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Lay Pastor Douglas Beachard officiating.

Mr. Robert A. Weaver, 79, 142 Roosevelt Road, passed away Wednesday evening, November 2, 2011 at Massena Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Tuesday.

There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Massena, at the convenience of the family.
