Stanley E. Foster , 95, Hannawa Falls. Funeral services for 95-year old Mr. Stanley E. Foster will be held at the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam on Monday, July 19, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donald Manfred officiating. Calling hours at the funeral home are on Sunday afternoon and evening from 4 to 8 p.m. Mr. Foster died at his home in Hannawa Falls on Thursday, July 15.
Clarkson University alumnus Michael L. Sarafin '94 presents Clarkson President Tony Collins with a banner that flew on the last flight of the Atlantis space shuttle in May. Serafin, lead shuttle flight director for the mission, was at Clarkson for Alumni Reunion and presented the president with the banner at an awards brunch.

William F. Streeter, Jr., 79, passed away at his home, Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Mr. Streeter was born on May 27, 1931 in Cranberry Lake, son of the late William F. and Hazel Dennison Streeter, Sr. He graduated from Madrid Waddington High School in 1949 and enlisted in the U. S. Army. He came home on leave and married Lillian L. Gascon on December 9, 1953 at the Waddington U. M. Church.

PYRITES – Peter Wimmer and Vicky Murphy of Pyrites will celebrate their 19th anniversary on Aug. 29, 2010.
The couple was married Aug. 29, 1991 in Parishville at the home of Justice of the Peace Dean Wilson.

Vicky was formerly employed by Reynolds Metals, Co., and Corning Inc. She is presently employed by the City of Auburn.
Erin’s Isle will host the second event in the 2010 Blues for Books concert series, featuring The Conrad Story Blues Band on Friday, July 23 with a happy hour benefit concert from 5 to 7 p.m. on the deck overlooking the beautiful St. Regis River, Brasher Falls. The memorial service for Martha L. Heintz, 94, of Glenn Street, Massena will be held at Emmanuel Congregational Church, 39 W. Orvis St, Massena. The time and date of the memorial service will be announced at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Phillips Memorial Home, Inc. of Massena will be handling the arrangements.
Martha passed away quietly in the company of her loving caregivers Tuesday, July 13, 2010.
Gloria J. (Rockwood) LaMora, passed on July, 14, 2010 with her loving family by her side. Gloria was born April 30, 1935, in the town of Stockholm. She was the daughter and only child of the late Bernard and Nellie (Brothers) Rockwood of Winthrop.
She was predeceased by husband, John P. LaMora Sr.; and son Bernard.
