Weather has delayed the arrival of the Tall Ship Nao Trinidad to Ogdensburg.

Scheduled to arrive today, Sept. 6, the ship won't dock in Ogdensburg until Thursday morning. Tours will be held from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. this Thursday through Sunday.

*Boarding passes purchased on www.NaoTrinidad.org can be used for any time the ship is in Ogdensburg. Boarding pass also gives free access to the Frederic Remington Art Museum and Ogdensburg History Museum.

The Nao Trinidad is a replica of Ferdinand Magellan’s ship (1519-1522) that made the first circumnavigation around the globe, and now serves as a floating museum of Spanish maritime heritage. The exquisite ship boasts four masts, five sails and five decks.

The inaugural Old River Fest will kick off Friday night, Sept. 8 with a block party featuring food trucks and live music by Double Axel on Washington Street in front of the Frederic Remington Art Museum, from 5-8pm.

Saturday, September 10th is the celebration of Old River Fest, with a full schedule of family friendly events, which can be found on www.OldRiverFest.com.
