POTSDAM – Potsdam Police Officer Peter LaSala’s resignation was accepted by the Board of Trustees at the board’s meeting March 16.
Police Chief Mark Murray said LaSala had been on the force for seven years, and is leaving to join Canton’s police department.
He has served “with our gratitude, and good luck to Peter. He has been a real asset to the department,” Murray said.
