POTSDAM — Several streets in the village will be paved starting the week of Monday, Aug. 2.
Weather permitting, the streets will be paved in the following order: Barclay Street, Popular, Hamilton Street, Riverview Drive, Lower Bay Street, Chestnut Street, Missouri Avenue, Walnut Street and Cherry Street.
Motorists and people living on those streets should be aware that streets will be closed to all traffic during paving, and driveway will not be accessible for 3-4 hours afterward to allow the pavement to cool.
Work starts daily from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Be observant for paving crews.
Those who live on streets that will be paved and need to get out should move their vehicle prior to the paver crossing their driveway.
