POTSDAM -- The Village of Potsdam will close the Civic Center offices on April 2 and 3.
They will reopen Monday. April 6 at 8 a.m. Payments may still be made online or the locked drop box. Any requests for birth or death certificates may be submitted in the drop box as well. They will answer all requests as soon as possible, according to a news release from the village administrator.
“There will be no disruption of Police and Fire service to the community. Both the Police Department and the Fire Department will remain open and available as normal. As always in the event of an emergency please call 911 or 315-265-2121. We are doing our best to ensure the public that all necessary services will remain available to them throughout this time of great uncertainty. The Village wants to remind everyone that we can and we will beat this threat. Please be compassionate to each other and remember to practice good hygiene and social distancing practices. Thank you for your patience,” Village Administrator Greg Thompson said.
