MADRID –Registration is now open for universal pre-kindergarten and kindergarten at Madrid-Waddington Elementary School for the school year beginning this fall.
Children must be school district residents.
To be eligible for UPK children must be four years old on or before Dec. 1. For kindergarten, students must be five years old on or before Dec. 1.
UPK is available to all eligible children in the district. There are two sessions each day, in the morning from 8:15 to 11:15 a.m., or in the afternoon from 12:30 to 3:10 p.m.
Kindergarten is a full day, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
Parents may attend a registration session at the school from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21 or 9 to 1 a.m. Friday, March 22.
