STOCKHOLM — A Potsdam woman died following a two vehicle accident early this morning at the intersection of U.S. Highway 11 and CR 57, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Judith A. Hinman, 83, was reportedly traveling northwest on CR 57 and failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by another vehicle, deputies said.
Both vehicles exited the roadway, officers said.
Hinman, who was the sole occupant of her vehicle, was transported by ambulance to Canton-Potsdam Hospital where she died from her injuries, deputies said.
The driver and a passenger of the second vehicle were treated for minor injuries after also being transported by ambulance to CPH, officers said.
