CANTON — Two St. Lawrence County inmates were charged following an investigation of drugs at the St. Lawrence County jail, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Deputies said they charged Schuyler G. Mitchell, 23, and David G. Clark Jr., 49, each with fifth-degree conspiracy stemming from an incident on July 12.
Both men allegedly tried to have dangerous contraband borough into the jail while they were incarcerated.
Mitchell and Clark were issued appearance tickets and remanded back to St. Lawrence County jail, officers said.
