OGDENSBURG — Two men from Ogdensburg have been charged in separate incidents with promoting prison contraband.
One man was charged Tuesday with promoting prison contraband stemming from an complaint made to state police May 3.
Turvide Acosta, 32, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband at 1:25 p.m., officers said.
He was ordered held.
In another incident that same day, Ogdensburg man was charged with promoting prison contraband stemming from an complaint made to state police Dec. 23.
Twayne Franklin, 45, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband at 12:30 p.m., officers said.
He too was ordered held.
