Two new cases of COVID-19 reported to St. Lawrence County Thursday

CANTON -- Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported to St. Lawrence County Public Health today (Thursday, June 17), bringing the total number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases to-date to 7,527.

Public Health said 7,409 cases have been released from isolation.

Three cases are hospitalized.

Ninety-seven deaths have occurred; this fatality data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on June 17 before 2 p.m.

Public Health said 336,853 COVID-19 tests have been performed as of June 16; this testing data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on June 17 before 2 p.m.

Testing is being done through both St. Lawrence Health Systems and Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Testing is by appointment only.
