CANTON – Two men are facing drug charges after St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies allegedly discovered pot and ecstacy pills in their vehicle.
Deputies charged Cody A. Potter, 20, Barnard, Vt., with criminal possession of a controlled substance seventh degree and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on East Main Street on Saturday. His passenger, Zachary P. Waterman, 21, Claremont, NH, was cited for criminal possession of marijuana.
Deputies said a small quantity of marijuana, two smoking devices and five ecstacy pills were located in the vehicle.
Both men were released are to appear in Village of Canton Court at a later date.
