MASSENA — Two Massena residents were arrested by state troopers on drug charges after a traffic stop on County Route 37 on Jan. 15 around 1 p.m.

Christopher P. Hotte, 32, of Massena, and Jessie L. Dulin, 26, of Massena, for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Troopers report that they were patrolling on Route 37 when they observed a red VW Jetta with an expired inspection sticker.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Thomas I. Borsellino, 34, of Massena, the front seat passenger was Dulin, and in the back seat of the vehicle was Hotte, said state police.

While being interviewed, the stories of the three did not match.

Troopers asked consent to search the vehicle, which Borsellino granted.

Dulin and Hotte were found in possession of drug paraphernalia, Dulin was known to have cocaine, and Hotte suboxone not in original container.

Dulin and Hotte were arrested and transported to SP Massena for processing.

Both were released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Massena Court at a later date.
