The National Weather Service predicts two to five inches of snow will accumulate in parts of St. Lawrence County on Wednesday and during the daytime Thursday.
Meteorologists are calling for 80% chances of snow tonight and 70% chances Thursday, with Wednesday night lows around 26 and Thursday highs around 30.
Thursday night is forecast to be cold, around 18 degrees, with 30 percent chances of snow.
NWS says Friday brings a 40 percent chance of snow with temperatures around 27 degrees.
The detailed forecast for St. Lawrence County:
Wednesday night - Snow showers. Low around 26. Calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Thursday - Snow showers likely, mainly before 11am. Cloudy, with a high near 30. West wind 5 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Thursday night - A 30 percent chance of snow after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday - A 40 percent chance of snow before 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 27. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the morning. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Friday night - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 10. Northwest wind around 6 mph.
Saturday - Partly sunny, with a high near 24. West wind around 6 mph.
Saturday night - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph.
