GOUVERNEUR -- A Malone resident was charged with possession of prison contraband Sept. 29 stemming from an incident reported to state police on Sept. 21.
Dennis Roman, 37, was charged with first-degree prison contraband, felony, at 8:24 p.m., officers said.
He was cited and released.
OGDENSBURG -- An Ogdensburg resident was charged Sept. 29 stemming from a contraband report on June 22, according to state police.
Ciaphas A. Hawkins, 26, was charged with first-degree possession of prison contraband, felony, at 8:47 a.m., police said.
Hakwins was cited and released.
