Troopers: Four jailed on drug, weapon charges in Massena

MASSENA — Two Massena residents and two Syracuse residents were jailed on drug charges Saturday afternoon, according to state police.

The four were charged after troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Buick Lucerne with no front license plate on State Highway 56 in Louisville.

James A. Delosh, 52, and Jacqueline M. Sierra, 32, both of Massena, were charged with third-degree criminal possession controlled substance with intent to sell, felony; second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, officers said.

Quadeer L. Lumpkin, 23, Syracuse was charged with third-degree criminal possession controlled substance with intent to sell, felony; second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Tajona L. McRae, 22, Syracuse (the driver of the vehicle) was charged with third-degree criminal possession controlled substance with intent to sell, felony; second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon (metal knuckles), troopers said.

Delosh and Sierra were each found in possession of glass pipes with crack-cocaine residue, police said.

Lumpkin was found to be on parole stemming from an arrest in Onondaga County, police said.

A search of the vehicle revealed drug scales, approximately 10 grams of cocaine and a set of metal knuckles, police said.

The four defendants were arraigned in Massena Town Court. 

Lumpkin and McRae were remanded to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail, or $5,000 bond, police said.
 
Sierra was remanded to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail, or $2,000 bond, police said. 

Delosh was remanded to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $750 cash bail, or $1,500 bond. police said.
