Trinity School in Massena preparing for Catholic Schools Week
MASSENA – One of the most exciting times of the school year is Catholic Schools Week. This year, Trinity Catholic School will be celebrating this event with a week-long slate (Feb. 12-17) of fun activities for the students, and staff, including fun daily outfit suggestions.
Each year, the week begins with a pancake breakfast with the community. This year, it will be held on Feb. 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria. Meals are $9 per person or $30 for 4 meals. People can eat in, or take out by calling the cafeteria at 315-764-0012. School officials say the breakfast is not only a delicious way to kick off the week with families and community, it’s also an important fundraiser for our cafeteria.During the week, activities throughout the day will fit the school’s daily themes:
Loving our Faith and Families, noon Mass with our families, and then the families are invited back to school to play games.
Loving our Community, we’ll join together as a school community to make Valentine’s Day cards for people in the Massena community.
Loving the Gift that God gave us, we’ll hold our annual Student Talent Show in the morning, and community spaghetti dinner, and student share fair in the evening. The spaghetti dinner and share fair will be held on Feb. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria. Meals are $10 each. You can eat in or take out by calling 315-764-0012. After eating, the public is invited to view the student’s projects at the share fair.
Loving our Teachers, in the morning the teachers will swap classrooms and see what it’s like to have a different class for a little bit, and then they get to enjoy the much-loved Faculty and Staff Appreciation luncheon, hosted by our amazing PTC (parent group).
Loving our Students, we’ll watch a movie and enjoy popcorn, and perhaps enjoy some outdoor winter fun.
Please keep an eye on our social media for pictures of all the fun.
