POTSDAM – A Potsdam man is facing drug-related charges following a traffic stop late Monday, March 13, in the village.
Meschach F. Adams, 28, Potsdam, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of narcotic drugs, possession of narcotic drug with intent to sell, and two counts of use of drug paraphernalia on March 13 at 11 p.m. on the Waverly Street Extension.
According to Potsdam police, Adams was found to be in possession of 11.56 grams of cocaine, digital scales, and individual packaging bags for the cocaine following a traffic stop. Adams was a passenger in the vehicle.
Adams was arraigned in Canton Town Court and released to return to Potsdam Court on April 5.
