Two new cases of Covid-19 were reported to the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department over the weekend and one new case was reported Monday, bringing to 229 the number of confirmed positive cases to-date.
A total of eight cases are currently active, according to Brigette Conklin, community health educator with the health department.

Since the pandemic began, 217 St. Lawrence County cases have been released from isolation, one case is currently hospitalized and three people died, according to the state Department of Health. A total of 21,463 St. Lawrence County residents have been tested for COVID-19.
Testing is being done through both St. Lawrence Health Systems and Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center by appointment only.
