MASSENA -- Three people are facing class A-1 felony drug charges after being found with more than a pound of narcotics in a Ripley Street apartment.

On Tuesday, police raided 4 Ripley St. Apt. B and arrested Hannah L. Hayden, 27, of 69 Beach St., Massena; Michael A. Delgado, 28, of 204 North 13th St., Newark, N.J.; and Dale F. Pryce, 30, of 30 Hospital Drive, Massena.

They are all charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Hayden is also charged with tampering with physical evidence. She tried to flush the narcotics down the toilet when investigators arrived, police said.

Delgado faces an additional count of possession of a controlled substance not in original container.

Police say a search warrant, signed by Massena judge Eric Gustafson, turned up 274.9 grams of crack cocaine, 293.7 grams of heroin, 56.8 grams of powered cocaine and an undisclosed sum of U.S. currency.

All three were ordered held pending arraignment in Massena court, police said.

“Today’s arrests are part of the Massena Police Departments on-going efforts to put an end to the illegal drug activity in our community. We will not tolerate or allow this dangerous activity to continue here in Massena,” police chief Adam Love said in a prepared statement announcing the arrests.
