High pressure over the St. Lawrence Valley will bring sunny skies and seasonal temperatures to the area on Thanksgiving, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

A turkey day high of 45 is expected with mostly sunny skies and light winds, the service says. Overnight lows will be around 36.

Valley rain and mountain snow showers develop early Friday morning and continue into Friday

evening, NWS says. Little to no snow accumulation is expected.

A brief dry period is expected for Saturday, before another round of more substantial rain arrives for Sunday afternoon and evening, NWS says. Scattered rain and snow showers will likely follow to begin the work week, with drier conditions redeveloping mid-week.
