AKWESASNE — The Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort plans to reopen table games for guests Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 9 a.m.

Available games will include Mississippi Stud, Craps, Blackjack, Single Deck Blackjack, Double-Deck Blackjack, Three-Card Poker, Let it Ride and Roulette, according to a press release.

Table games will be reopening with limitations for seating based on social distancing requirements. Due to the physical distancing requirements, every table will be open, however a limit of three players per game/table will be enforced, occupying every other seat.

All chips, table games equipment, and seating contact surfaces will be sanitized routinely, the release said. Handrails, dice, card shoes, and high-contact touch points will be sanitized between each use. As an additional precaution, safety partitions have been positioned on all table games.

Due to social distancing, Texas Hold’em Poker, Caribbean Stud Poker, and Pai Gow Poker will remain closed at this time.

To ensure safety of guests and team members, enhanced cleaning and sanitizing practices and safety measures remain in place throughout the property, casino officials said. Measures include mandatory face mask requirements at all times for all guests and team members, social distancing practices and measures, no smoking, and a limited capacity of 1,200 maximum guests at one time.

Limited hours of operation are 9 a.m. until 1 a.m., which allows for deep cleaning each night.
