POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam and its Gaming Club will host Bear-Con, a campus convention with game events, March 25 to 27.
The convention venues at Kellas Hall, Knowles Hall, and the Barrington Student Union will have events such as card games, board games, video games, table-top games, anime, comic books, science fiction, science
fact, discussions on a variety of topics, guest speakers, musicians and much more.
Events will run from 10 a.m. to midnight each day.
There will be panel discussions on topics such as "Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse," video game tournaments like Halo:Reach, and card game tournaments like Magic the Gathering.
An assortment of vendors will be there, including Tim's Comic and Game.
Musical guests including Powerglove will perform.
Admission is $5 with SUNY Potsdam ID, $15 dollars for pre-registered non-students, and $20 for at-door
non-students.
