Congressman Bill Owens is accepting submissions from high school students in New York’s 23rd Congressional District for an annual Congressional Art Competition.
The theme this year is An Artistic Discovery.
Interested students can submit a digital copy of their artwork to NY23art@mail.house.gov. The winner of the competition will have his or her submission sent to Washington, D.C. to be displayed for one year as part of the national student art exhibition in the U.S. Capitol.

All submissions must be received by Owens’ office no later than Tuesday, May 3rd.
Last year’s 23rd District winner was Clifton-Fine Central School freshman Brianna Dolan from Star Lake.
