Pleasant weather is expected today in St. Lawrence County, with gradually increasing south winds and a seasonably warm afternoon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The high today will be around 43 with wind gusts as high as 21 mph, the service says. Overnight the low will be around 36 with 14-20 mph winds.
On Saturday, strong winds are expected to intensify, especially across Northern New York, NWS says.
The high will be around 51, there is a chance of rain showers, and winds will be 23-25 mph with gusts reaching as high as 47 mph, NWS says.

A chance of rain before 1pm, then showers likely, mainly between 1pm and 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 51. Breezy, with a south wind 23 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 47 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

A chance of rain and snow showers before 7pm, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind 10 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
