POTSDAM -- The L. Wayne Strader Memorial Scholarship Fund Committee has awarded $500 scholarships to four area students at Sergi’s Restaurant in Potsdam.
One student from each of four local schools – Brooke Ramsay from Colton-Pierrepont, Monique Jenkinson from Parishville-Hopkinton, Stephanie Fisher from Norwood-Norfolk, and Elinor Pacific from Potsdam Central were presented their awards Monday.
The committee expressed gratitude to the Hannawa Falls Volunteer Fire Department, Clarkson and St. Lawrence Universities, the many local businesses who participated, friends, family members, and local residents for donations and support.
