STOCKHOLM -- A Stockholm man has been charged with growing marijuana after he was found with 19 plants.
Edward S. Charleson, 54, of 54 Scott Road, was charged with a unlicensed marijuana growing, a misdemeanor.
The charge followed an investigation by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, but was made by Drug Task Force detectives.
Sheriff’s deputies said the plants were not matured, but said a good harvest on a mature marijuana plant could produce around a half pound.
Investigators said Charleson’s plants were located outside of his home.
Charleson was issued an appearance ticket.
