MASSENA – United Steelworkers Local 450-A has announced the slate of candidates it is backing in the November election, including Andrew Cuomo for governor, Darrel Aubertine in the 48th Senate District, and several county Board of Legislators candidates.
Local President David LaClair, Jr. and PAC Committee Chair Tim Hanna, reminding people to vote on Nov. 2, sent out this list of favored candidates in races for state and county offices:
Governor – Andrew Cuomo
47th Senate seat – no endorsement
48th Senate seat – Darrel Aubertine
118th Assembly seat – Addie Russell
122nd Assembly seat – Brian McGrath
County Coroner – Jamie Sienkiewycz
County Treasurer – Kevin Felt
In county legislative districts:
District 1 – Sam Burns
District 4 – Michelle McQueer
District 6 – Fred Morrill
District 9 – Steve Putnam
District 10 – Jim Bunstone
District 11 – Gavin Regan
District 12 – Sallie Brothers
District 13 – Tony Arquiett
District 15 – Jonathan Putney
For Ogdensburg City Judge, the union supports Marcia Lemay.
For Mayor of Massena, they back Joe Macaulay.
