LISBON — State Police have released the name of the deceased victim found in a ditch in Lisbon on Thanksgiving Day.
The victim has been identified Ashli E. Bernard, 25, of Massena, State Police said.
State Police said they found Bernard, after responding to Pray Road on Nov. 24 around 1:15 p.m., where the deceased was found in a ditch on the side of the road.
The NYSP is being assisted by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, US Border Patrol and St. Lawrence County Coroner.
On Nov. 25, forensic pathologist, Dr. Scott LaPoint, completed an autopsy of Bernard at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
The cause and manner of death are pending toxicology.
State Police are asking anyone with information regarding this investigation to call 315-379-0012.
