The New York State Police will hold a media briefing at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon regarding the case of an 18-year-old missing for nearly three days in the Northern Adirondacks. The briefing will be held at the Command Post in Piercefield.
Police did not indicate any specifics about the briefing.
This morning, state police, state DEC forest rangers and some 200 volunteers continued the search for Colin Gillis, 18, of Tupper Lake, who was last seen early Sunday along Rt. 3 between Tupper Lake and Piercefield.
A driver who was driving by reportedly saw him along that stretch of road around the Franklin and St. Lawrence County border.
As the search continues, anyone with information is asked to call the New York State Police in Ray Brook at (518) 897-2000.
