EDWARDS — State Police arrested an Edwards woman on multiple charges on Nov. 17.
Police say Lakoata E. Schwartfigure, 21, went to the victim’s residence on Nov. 7 and refused to leave after being told to do so multiple times.
Schwartfigure allegedly yelled offensive language at the victim from the yard before walking to the outside living room window, striking it and causing it to break.
Police charged Schwartfigure with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree harassment and trespass.
She was processed at SP Gouverneur and arraigned in Town of Gouverneur Court where she was released to the supervision of probation.
Schwartfigure is due in court again on Dec. 6.
