AKWESASNE — One of the schools in the Salmon River Central School District is shifting to remote learning due to quarantine issues.
Due to a significant number of quarantined students and staff, St. Regis Mohawk School switched to a remote learning model for this week.
This only applies to the St. Regis Mohawk School. Students at all other district schools will continue to attend school in-person.
Chromebooks and iPads were sent home with students on Friday, Sept. 17.
The school operated on a two-hour delay to provide district instructional staff with an opportunity to adapt their classroom instruction to fit the needs of the remote learning model.
Cafeteria staff will be serving breakfast and lunch for pick-up in front of the main entrance from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. all week.
