ST. REGIS FALLS — A St. Regis Falls man was charged Sept. 9 following an investigation of inappropriate sexual advances toward a child, according to state police.
Troopers said they charged 58-year-old Christopher N. Santa with third-degree patronizing prostitution and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Police said the investigation revealed since 2019, Santa had conversed with the victim both verbally and electronically, in an inappropriate and sexually suggestive manner.
Santa reportedly offered the victim a quantity of money in exchange for sexual contact with him.
He was arraigned in Waverly court and later released on his own recognizance.
