OGDENSBURG – St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union recently made a donation of $1,000 for Fort Tribute. These funds will be used in the ongoing development of the Fort’s operations, collection and maintenance.
St. Lawrence FCU supported the Fort from its initial construction and has given annually since the major capital campaign.
“We appreciate the ongoing generous support Todd Mashaw and the Credit Union continue to provide the Fort,” stated Scott A. Wilson, Volunteer Fort Tribute Coordinator.
Fort Tribute is a Civil-War era historical interpretive center located on the grounds of the St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum in Madrid. It also has the only single Civil War monument to recognize the Congressional Medal of Honor recipients from St. Lawrence County that fought in the War between 1861-1865.
