CANTON -- St. Lawrence County legislators approved a local law that will allow all-terrain-vehicle operation on some additional county roads and bridges.
The law will allow ATV use on Country Rout County Route 50 from Bums Road to Vice Road which is approximately .9 miles. It will also allow use of a .1 mile section of Country Route 55 from Old Town Bam to Depot Street and 1.34 miles on County Route 54 from Desmond Road to Buckton Road.
Additionally ATV use will be allowed on County Bridge Depot Street, County Bridge Smith Road and County Bridge Buckton Road.
Legislators approved the measure following a public hearing Monday.
