St. Lawrence County seniors will receive their diplomas in ceremonies across the North Country June 24 - 26.

Below are dates, times, locations, graduation lists and speakers for local school districts.

Massena Central School 

Graduation at Massena Central will take place June 24 at 8:30 p.m. on the turf.

If the weather is not ideal, graduation will be moved to Saturday, June 25, at 8:30 p.m. on the turf.  If graduation is outside, seating is unlimited and there will be no need for tickets for attendance.

However if the weather does not cooperate it will be moved to the main gym and there will be a limit of 5 guests per graduate.

Massena Central named Elizabeth Cichetti, as the district valedictorian and Madeline Tusa as the salutatorian for 2022.

There will be large video screens set up so audience members can see better.

The district graduation list has not been finalized before print.  

Ogdensburg City School District

Ogdensburg City School Seniors will walk the stage on June 25 at noon in Edgar A. Newell II Memorial Golden Dome.

This year’s valedictorian is Megan Reed and the salutatorian is Katherine Smith.

Canton Central seniors will walk the stage June 24 at 7 p.m. at the SUNY Canton Roo House.

Potsdam Central School plans to host its 2022 graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. on June 24 at Hosmer Hall at SUNY Potsdam.

This year’s valedictorian is Luke Brosell and their salutatorian is Claire Murphy.

Christina Bailey, two-time Olympic medalist in women's ice hockey, will speak at the ceremony.  

This year’s graduating class includes Beretta Allen, Karina Benzel, Tyler Bush, Jacob Gooder, Nathaniel Gore, Carlie-Mae Huckle, Kaleb Kendrix, Dakota Marsh and Alexa Noble.

Colton-Pierrepont Central

Colton-Pierrepont Central School will honor its 2022 senior class on Friday, June 24, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. The valedictorian is Isabelle Vaccaro and the salutatorian is Noah Rousell.

Graduation at Edwards-Knox School District is slated for June 25 at 11 a.m. at the school.

This year the valedictorian for the Class of 2022 is Tyler Scott and the salutatorian is Mason White.

Speakers will include Tyler Scott, Mason White, Dekoda Matthews, and Anthony Cicciarelli II.

Hammond Central School will hold its graduation ceremony Sunday, June 26, at 2 p.m. in the gym.

This year's valedictorian is Cheria Hadlock and the salutatorian is Abigail Bresett.

Harrisville Central School 

Graduation at Harrisville Central is set for June 24 at 7 p.m. at the school. Officials there had not yet decided exactly where the ceremony would take place.

This year the district valedictorian is Caroline Delles and the salutatorian is Jayla Hall.

Speakers have yet to be announced.

Hermon-DeKalb Central’s graduation ceremony is on Friday, June 24 at 7 p.m. outside of school. If there is inclement weather, the ceremony will take place in the school auditorium at the same time.

The ceremony will be live streamed on the district’s Facebook page.

Charles Burt, a former teacher, is scheduled to be a speaker at the ceremony.

Hermon-DeKalb’s 2022 graduates include Andrew Blauvelt, Keaton Brabaw, Grace Burwell, Arthur Carr II, Henry Chilton, Jacob Coller, Taylor Daniels, Shelbee Elwell, Max Finley, Emma Friot, Hanna Gollinger and Billy Granger.

Heuvelton Central School will hold its graduation on Friday, June 24, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

Speakers for the ceremony include Isabella Doyle, Chevelle Keith, Hunter Venette, and Cole Rickett.

Lisbon Central will host its graduation night on June 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the district auditorium.

The speakers will be Pledge of Allegiance, Marissa Robinson; honors speaker, Miles Gendebien; honors speaker, Calea LeBel; class vice president, Mikaela Buckley; and future plans, Abigail Evans.

Lisbon recognizes an honors group of students that have earned a cumulative grade point average of 90 or higher. ThiS year 18 students will be recognized. They are Miles Gendebien, Calea LeBel, Noah Martin, Rowan Rishe, Emily Jordan, Tien Huyhn, Matthew Walker, Riley Beldock, Jayden Williams, Trent Williams, Mikaela Buckley, Abigail Evans, Abigail Avery, Cody Claxton, Chase Jacobs, Julia Rishe, Matthew Dean, and Marissa Robinson.

The graduating class at Lisbon Central includes Katelyn Adams, Abigail Avery, Riley Beldrock, Mikaela Buckley, Braedon Bunnell, Harleigh Cameron, Cody Claxton, Cooper Davison, Matthew Dean, Emily Downey Abigail Evans and Meghan Gardner.

Morristown Central School 

Morristown Central graduation will be held June 25 at 6 p.m. in the gymnasium.

This year MCS announced Iris Bailey as their 2021 valedictorian and Nathan Forrest as their salutatorian.

No speakers have been announced yet.
