CANTON -- St. Lawrence County legislators renewed their deal with Cornell Cooperative Extension for the organization to lease office space at the Human Services Building.
The legislature voted to lease the space to CCE for Oct. 1, 2020 to Sept. 30, 2021 at $16.80 per square foot, a total of $12,852 for the year.
The resolution gives three additional one-year options at a rate “consistent with what is currently charged to departments that occupy the Human Services Center as of October 1 for the applicable year.”
The office space is on the first floor of the center and contains 575 square feet of office space with an additional 190 square feet of common area, the resolution says.
The board took the action during their Monday, Oct. 5 meeting, which was streamed live on YouTube.
