CANTON – The St. Lawrence County Historical Association (SLCHA), in the Silas Wright House & Red Barn addition at 3 E. Main St. will be closed for Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday. Nov. 28 and 29.
The museum and archives will open again on Saturday, Nov. 30 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for holiday shopping.
The Gift Shop has many unique gifts, including adult and children’s local history books, old-time toys and games, wooden miniatures of historic St. Lawrence County structures, and t-shirts highlighting area towns. On Saturday, Dec. 14, most items will be on sale at a 10% discount, with the exception of the miniatures and all CDs/DVDs.
