CANTON – A St. Lawrence County grand jury on Thursday, June 30, indicted a Massena woman on drug and weapons charges.
Julia Larock, 57, of 150 Maple St., was charged with third-degree sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
It is alleged Larock was in possession of heroin with the intent to sell on March 3 in the Village of Massena. Court documents also noted she was unlawfully in possession of a rifle or shotgun on March 3, having been convicted of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a Class D felony, on Jan. 2, 2007 in St. Lawrence County Court.
On June 23, one indictment was handed down. Ian Johns, 108 N. Main St., Hermon, faces charges of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
It is alleged Johns was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs on March 7 in the Town Oswegatchie with his driver’s license suspended or revoked.
