The St. Lawrence County Arts Council is accepting community nominations through January 25 for their 2019 Arts Recognition Award.
Each year SLC Arts recognizes someone in the North Country for dedicated service to the arts in the region.
Individuals who are nominated need not be artists themselves, but their passion, devotion, and work will have made the North Country a better place through the arts or a better place for artists to live, work, and create.
People may submit nominations online at http://slcartscouncil.org/arts-recognition-award/. The SLC Arts' Board of Directors will consider the nominations.
