St. Lawrence County Public Health officials report 23 people have tested positive for COVID-19, the respiratory illness caused by the novel coronavirus.
The figure is as of 5:22 p.m. Monday, March 30.
Current cases have been identified in Canton, Winthrop, Massena, North Lawrence, Ogdensburg, Potsdam and St. Regis Falls, the public health department said.
There are currently five cases among SUNY Potsdam students. Four are quarantined here in St. Lawrence County and the other is in the person's county of residence, public health said.
