St. Lawrence CDP Community Action Angels is selling angel Christmas ornaments in an effort to raise money for winter programs.
They have been designed by the organization’s founder, Pat Standish, and feature the year and the theme “Believe.” The ornaments sell for $8 apiece, or two for $15. They are available for purchase at Community Bank branches in Canton, Potsdam, Massena, Ogdensburg, Gouverneur, and Waddington, as well as at the CDP Office in Canton.
All proceeds directly benefit the St. Lawrence County CDP Community Action Angels program, recently launched by the St. Lawrence County Community Development Program to help meet the needs of individuals and families in St. Lawrence County that might not be met through other means.
If you are interested in learning more about the Community Action Angels Program, or want to make a donation to the needy, or if you would like to volunteer to help, Coordinator Alicia Murphy at 386-1102, ext. 27 or 244-1530.
