OSWEGATCHIE -- A Heuvelton man died Saturday following an alleged snowmobile accident along State Highway 37, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Brenton J. Decker, 38, listed, was reportedly traveling east along the roadway when he struck a ditch which caused him to be ejected from the machine.
Decker was transported to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries, officers said.
Deputies were assisted by state police, Heuvelton fire, Lisbon fire, Ogdensburg fire, and Ogdensburg rescue.
