MASSENA — In an effort to streamline the scheduling process for Massena Hospital’s cardiology and radiology patients who require medical imaging, the main phone numbers to those departments are now being answered by St. Lawrence Health’s Central Scheduling team.

· The direct line to Central Scheduling is 315.261.5240.

· Providers may fax orders to Central Scheduling at 315.261.5224.

The change is expected to provide more timely appointments for patients who have the availability to go to one of St. Lawrence Health’s alternate locations for their testing. Depending on the test, imaging procedures are conducted at Massena Hospital, Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Gouverneur Hospital, and the EJ Noble Professional Building in Canton.

Canton-Potsdam Hospital and Gouverneur Hospital are already utilizing the central scheduling services, and bringing Massena Hospital into the fold has permitted a collaborative effort throughout St. Lawrence Health to better meet the needs of its patients, according to Pam Klosowski, a spokesperson for St. Lawrence Health.
