CANTON -- St. Lawrence County Sheriff Kevin Wells says there was no police pursuit prior to a fatal motorcycle collision in Fowler on Friday.
Christopher B. Fuller, 21, was killed that day shortly before 4:30 p.m. when his 2016 Honda CRF450R dirt bike was involved in an accident with a 2013 Ford F150 that was towing a small trailer.
There are several rumors that either state police, sheriff deputies or Gouverneur Police were pursuing Fuller prior to the crash.
Sheriff Wells said Fuller’s death resulted from “aggressive driving.”
“The family knows exactly what happened,” he said, adding that the investigation into the collision continues.
Wells said there were a number of agencies on scene, incuding Gouverneur police, who will sometimes assist Gouverneur Fire and Rescue when they are dispatched to a call.
